Dog Walking
Scratch & Sniff Pet Services provides you with daily dog walking services! Dogs, like humans, seek stimulation, and few things are more stimulating than a walk. The outside world is full of sights, smells, and noises, as well as other sensory stimulation that dogs require to feel at ease in their surroundings. Dogs, like humans, require daily exercise to stay healthy. In addition to freeing up your time, Scratch & Sniff Pet Services will relieve you of the concerns about whether or not your dog is getting enough exercise and stimulation.
Overnight Pet Sitting
Is your pet in need of some additional attention during the night? We provide overnight pet sitting! Overnight pet sitting by Scratch & Sniff Pet Services gives your dogs extra comfort throughout the night. Furthermore, knowing that your pet is not alone while you are away might help you relax. This visit is especially good for pets who require extra attention in the evening hours, have separation anxiety, require more exercise, or are crated. A mid-day visit is not included in the overnight stay, but one can be added to their itinerary.
Drop Ins
Scratch & Sniff Pet Services can come by for a 30-minute visit if you do not need us for a longer period of time. You can also request a 60-minute drop in as well. We'll make sure your pet gets the attention and care he or she deserves while you're away. Your local pet caregiver is wonderful for handling any pet's needs, whether it's just the occasional visit or recurring visits.
Toe Nail Trims
We provide toe nail trimming! Dog nail cutting is an important aspect of keeping your pup happy and healthy. Long nails that come into contact with the ground can reduce traction, cause the feet to splay out, and put undue pressure on the toes. Long nails can also become entangled in carpet and bed linens and split or break, causing pain. If you don't clip your dog's nails properly, playing, running, and even walking might become painful. Long nails can also cause infections caused by your dog chewing on their paws or bacteria entering through broken nails.

Hi! My name is Rachel Drolet and I own and operate Scratch & Sniff Pet Services. I have over 7 years of animal care experience. I have always had a passion for animals growing up, so I decided to work with animals long term. I started working in boarding and daycare kennels, and became a manager at one of the biggest daycares in Charleston. Aside from kenneling, I have veterinary experience as a technician which is a great addition to properly caring for your animals.
Caring for your animals is my passion, and I would love to be able to meet you and your fur baby! I have several clients I have known for years with dogs, cats, and even chickens (I have farm animal experience as well: chickens, goats, donkeys, ponies).
